We have a fabulous new teacher joining us at Balance – Pippa Butler
Pippa graduated as a physiotherapist in 1988 and was employed in the NHS as a senior physiotherapist. She specialised in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with a special interest in feet and biomechanics, and is trained to use acupuncture for pain relief.
Pippa’s Pilates journey began in 2005 training on the mat with the Australian Pilates and Physiotherapy Institute (APPI) and taught modified pilates for low back pain classes, combining that with physiotherapy for the RAF Akrotiri rugby team.
A move for the family to the USA enabled Pippa to undergo further Pilates training with Stott, teaching beginner and intermediate mat classes in Colorado Springs.
A posting to Lincoln allowed a return to Physiotherapy and to teaching Pilates classes.
Pippa has the skills and experience to deliver a Pilates experience safely and effectively to a wide range of clients, including remedial programmes and has a special interest in Low Back Pain – she will be the perfect addition to our passionate, experienced and dedicated team at Balance!
Come and join Pippa at Balance on a Wednesday morning at 9am for a beginners pilates class.
