The knee is the most common site in the body for osteoarthritis and the risk of developing osteoarthritis increases with age with prevalence higher in women than men.
4.1 million adults aged over 45 in England have osteoarthritis of the knee.
Pain is a significant problem with almost 75% of sufferers reporting constant pain.
So what can you do to help yourself?
Come to our workshop dedicated to knees… on Tuesday 10th September at 2.15pm until 3.30pm.
In this workshop we will practice specific exercises to improve knee function and explore strategies for pain reduction.
We know that Increasing physical activity can reduce the risk of developing osteoarthritis, and also manage disease progression and prevent additional complications.
