Morning everyone – still on the Everest Theme!!!

I came back from Everest feeling so calm, relaxed and happy in myself. It’s surprising that when you are doing a very physically challenging event, outside your comfort zone in so many ways – that after 19 days my main overwhelming feeling was serenity!

It made me realise that for the first time in a very long time, I was actually living in the moment, I was embracing and enjoying each and every moment, something we call mindfullness. I wasn’t ‘overthinking’, something I think we are all guilty of….worrying about the ‘what if’s’ all the time, worrying about what the future might bring and worse still basing our decesions on what we think might happen in the future!

The reality is, that no one can ever know what the future brings, life is very unpredictable, our choices should be based on right here and right now, we can’t control the future, so let the ‘over-thinking’ ‘over analysing’ go and enjoy and open up your mind to the possibilities of today! You’ll feel all your stress melt away 🙂
