This is a sort of follow-on from last week’s newsletter, where I mentioned that I love to read, I always have a number of books on the go at once and the majority are all to do with expanding my knowledge.
This is part of me nurturing my Mind – I love learning new things, I particularly love learning about Brain Science and how that translates into how we live our lives.
So far this year I have learnt about:
Brain Science
How to present to various groups
How to fight Zombies (!)
Vegan cookery course
Reiki level 1
Mindset level 2
Bushcraft
Tracking
Trapping
Weight training
Kettlebells
Hot Pod Yoga
Shine Meditation
Spirituality
Somatics
Not to mention tried T’ai Chi, Pure Stretch, Food as Medicine, Facial Yoga, Sleep for Health, Personality Profiling, Standing Pilates – all part of our Well Being Wednesday sessions.
Lots of these cross over into nurturing my Mind, Body & Soul. It’s important to make sure that we are nurturing all 3 areas as they are so totally intertwined and a lack in one area will directly affect the other two areas.
So, what have you done so far this year? What new skills have you learnt?
Don’t hold back, if there is some new skill you want to learn, something new you would like to try – then do it, there is so much out there for us to do – your Mind, Body & Soul will thank you for it 🙂
What’s exciting and new for you to try coming up at Balance?
– Last week we had 15 lovely people come along and try meditation with me – many for the first time. I will be running another one next month.
– The Well Being Wednesday this month is Homeopathy.
– Starting today is the first week of my Elevate your Life Mindset course
– November’s Well Being Wednesday is MindBalance (mindful movement and meditation)
– December’s Well Being Wednesday is Somatics
– I’m in the process of organising a short Facial Yoga course.
– Well Being Wednesday will be running again next year, once a month where we will have the opportunity to try something different, learn something new – expand ourselves.
Who would like a Christmas coffee and cake morning – not too close to Christmas as we all get so busy?! Let me know if it’s something you would like and I will organise it 🙂
So much happening at Balance!
