Improve Your Immune System with Traditional Five Element Acupuncture
with Hannah Charles
1.15 to 2.15pm on Wednesday 8th November at Balance Studio
Come and find out how Five Element Acupuncture can help you look after yourself as winter approaches with Southwell-based Acupuncturist Hannah Charles at November’s Wellbeing Wednesday.
Autumn is the time to turn your attention to building and strengthening your immune system. In autumn the predominant element is metal. The two systems in the body that are most strongly activated at this time are the lungs and the large intestine. Both organs have the function of gathering in what is essential and of letting go of what is not needed. In the cycle of the five elements, metal is traditionally the first, as much as any circle can have a beginning or end. It is the best time to get back on track and to lay the foundations of our health over the next year. It is time to still our hearts and minds and to gather and collect the spirit and the qi (energy).
Hannah Charles (Townsend) Lic Ac MBAcC has been practising Traditional Five Element Acupuncture in Southwell since 1995. She discovered Five Element Acupuncture after injuring her back while nursing. The successful treatment for the back injury, along with PMS and other conditions, proved to Hannah the power of acupuncture in a very positive way, therefore leading to her career in acupuncture.
The cost of this session is £10. £10 is also the price for our annual pass now there are only two sessions left this year, so buy an annual pass and you can attend December’s session too. Please visit our online shop to buy your pass.
